Sunday 31st March - Easter Sunday
Festa da Mãe Soberana / Feast of the Sovereign Mother
Location: Loulé
One of the biggest Easter processions in the country, the procession is lead by 8 men carrying a statue of the patron saint from the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Piedade to the Church of São Francisco. The day ends with a firework display.
Festa das Tochas Floridas / Flower Torch Festival
Location: São Brás de Alportel – From 9:30
The streets and balconies of the town will be carpeted with fresh flowers, with an 11am procession carrying ‘torches’ of flowers towards the church.

Fun-filled Big Egg Hunt featuring balloon making, face painting, a bouncy castle and games. Free entry.
